- Awesome Stories A collection of primary source materials including biographies, disasters, famous trials, history, philosophy, sports, the arts, and more. You do have to register and login which is free or see Mr. Andrusyk for login information.
- Best of History Web Sites Provides a listing of over 1200 history-related web sites.
- Civilizations The companion website to the PBS/BBC series Civilizations that explores world history and art.
- Emerson Kent.com: World History for the Relaxed Historian Brings together a lot of information and designed for those who want their world history short and to the point, includes people in history, wars, maps, historic documents, historic locations, historic governments, famous speeches, timelines, archaeological records, and more.
- Eyewitness to History This site contains primary sources from the ancient world to the 20th Century.
- Food in the West: A Timeline Chronicles western civilization not by historical events, but rather by what people ate. Created by Utah State University professor Julia Gossard and her "Foundations of Western Civilization" class.
- Food Timeline Summarizes the history of food in a timeline.

- History Central This is a great resource for learning history. It has timelines on world history and American wars; primary source documents; aviation, naval, and railroad history; and more.
- History Guide From Gottingen State and University Library in Germany, this site is a subject index of history resources of over 3000 scholarly web sites and digital texts.
- History Today Explores the history of the world with articles from leading scholars.
- Human Odyssey Map The California Academy of Sciences maps out the history of human migration and the role climate played through out the journey.
- Internet History Sourcebooks Project From the website: " The Internet History Sourcebooks Project is a collection of public domain and copy-permitted historical texts presented cleanly (without advertising or excessive layout) for educational use."
- MacroHistory: World History Presents a timeline of world history from 200,000 B.C. to present day by Frank E. Smitha.
- Maps of War Consists of numerous interactive maps including the spread of democracy, history of religion, leadership and war, and history of the Middle East.
